Over 12 million children in sub-Saharan Africa have been orphaned by AIDS.*  Some live with elderly grandparents or relatives.  Others have been taken in by neighbors.  Many live in child-headed households.

It is easy to be overwhelmed by the enormity of the problem, but out of our ABUNDANCE, we can give HOPE to those with AIDSThe AIDS Bracelet is a simple way to link those who have much with those children in need.  You can make a difference today!

A Partnership of Hope

The Aids Bracelet Project is a grassroots effort to help ordinary, caring people work together to make a difference in the lives of AIDS orphans.  A simple bracelet--made by AIDS orphans in Africa or the women who support them--is a tangible expression of concern.  Churches, schools and other groups offer these African bracelets to individuals for a donation of $20.  We ask those who wear the bracelets to tell one other person about the AIDS orphan crisis.  The funds gathered go to support outstanding charities working specifically with AIDS orphans in Africa.
